Since 2022, South Carolina has attracted more than $17.2 billion in clean energy investments, currently supporting over 5,700 jobs in the sector. Enhancements to energy infrastructure, encompassing solar, batteries, critical minerals, nuclear energy and the electrical grid, will strengthen the state’s advanced manufacturing to establish energy resilience, create additional well-paying jobs and help safeguard families from rising energy expenses.
